A SUSTAINABLE CHOICE
We continuously work towards being better in all possible fields. We choose our materials with the utmost care: bamboo, tencel and recycled qualities soft to the touch and made to last.
Our goal is to turn waste into new resources. Re-used resources will keep them in the loop for longer and we are closer to a circular industry.
Bamboo
All our Bamboo styles are made from TENBRO bamboo fibers, which are well-selected from non-polluted bamboo in the Sichuan Province. For strictly controlling the quality of the raw material, Shanghai Tenbro has built its own bamboo plantation and keeps strict control.
In accordance with the international organic standard of OCIA/NOP, the bamboo selected is of 100% natural growth and without any chemical pesticides or chemical organic materials. Tenbro bamboo fiber has passed oeko-tex 100 Class 1 meaning that the TENBRO bamboo fiber is free of harmful substance.
Tencel
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are extracted from sustainably grown wood using a unique closed loop system which recovers and reuses the solvents used, minimizing the environmental impact of production.
Known for their natural comfort, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are versatile and can be combined with a wide range of textile fibers such as cotton, polyester, acrylic, wool and silk to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of fabrics. Unique physical properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers lead to their great strength, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin.
Cotton
Our cotton is guaranteed 100% organic cotton and is granted authorization according to Global Organic textile (GOTS) Standard.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. GOTS certification builds upon four distinctive and unique features: Organic Fibres, Ecological and Social Criteria, All Processing Stages, Third-Party Certification.
Recycled Polyamide
Almost all our technical styles contain recycled polyamide. The fiber we use, Q-NOVA®, is a fiber obtained exclusively from environmentally friendly raw materials and responds to specific traceability requirements.
Q-NOVA® is made of more than half of pre-consumption waste and it is a collaboration with the Italian company Fulgar. These materials were unusable in any other way and would have been disposed of as external waste.
Wool Mohair
Our merino wool is granted authorization according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® by Südwolle Group from Germany and is guaranteed 100% mulesing-free.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the worlds best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. Our Mohair supplier is committed to the establishment of a fully traceable and sustainable South African mohair clip, supported by sustainable manufacturing practices that will provide confidence to the final consumer that mohair is an extraordinary, renewable and ethically produced fibre.
Drirelease
Drirelease® instills a sense of comfort in knowing that its benefits are natural and inherent, using no chemical performance treatments.
The engineered blend of fibers optimizes the wicking, drying, soft feel and comfort of all fabrics, naturally. The unique drirelease® technology utilizes synthetic and natural fibers to accelerate the water release rate of fabrics, pushing water and perspiration through and to the outside of the garment into the air faster than other performance fabrics on the market.
